COLLECTIVE CARE

The Supply Closet is a physical space located at Blue Circle Art Therapy where resources are stored & shared UNCONDITIONALLY, a hub if you will, & yes - we have a fridge! Diabetics are THE ABSOLUTE BEST when it comes to sharing, probably because we know there is no time to waste, AND it is life or death. There are an abundance of resources out there!

INDIVIDUAL CARE

When you live with diabetes the amount of supplies you have in your closet is ever changing, sometimes we have an abundance of something, and then there are times we find ourselves suddenly out of something else, contacting The Supply Closet is an option for either situation! 

 

I HAVE TOO MUCH

The Supply Closet would be happy to take supplies off your hands and store them in our closet until someone else in the community is in need, it’s a win-win situation - more space for you while also knowing supplies will be distributed to those in need.

 

I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH

You are not alone! For those of us that have lived with diabetes long enough, we know that there are times that you simply need help. Often it's those "UNTIL" moments, "until the pharmacy will fill your prescription, until your insurance kicks in, until Monday, until the first of the month, until my Endo responds, until I get a job with insurance, until I make that phone call to find out what is going on, until I get organized, until I have money…”. As people with diabetes know, there isn’t always time to “wait until”, hence the opening of The Supply Closet. You can simply contact The Supply Closet via text/call/email and we’ll see if we have the supplies you need sitting in our closet, and if we do not, we will help you find what you need! Reach out anytime, especially if you need that REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT liquid stuff!
